Copper Rock Golf Course is a 6,823-yard course (Par 72) designed by local golf architect, Dale Beddo. The course merges several different course styles into its design. It has a few flatter holes, that play almost links-style with the rolling hills and bold bunkers that line the fairways before heading into several holes that bring elevation and water into the mix. This course design will visually leave you in awe and simultaneously test your golf game. The greens have a healthy mix of large and small sizes, adding in plenty of hills and slopes to give you some interesting reads as you play.

Golfers have called this course “tough, but fair”. After playing it myself, I can see exactly what they mean. There are plenty of shots out there that are the definition of risk versus reward. Whether it is laying up shy of some water on a short par 4, or a big par 5 that stretches downhill offering your ball a considerable amount of roll if located correctly off the tee. Copper Rock has plenty of blind shots into the green or off the tee, which requires accuracy and tough decision making at times. This course is really what golf is all about, a challenge that is as satisfying as it is maddening.
